It's amazing the difference a good night makes. I was still sore, but up for a good walk. Today's plan was to complete the parts of the second stage I'd not done yesterday. One real comfort was the knowledge of regular exit paths to the main road - and its frequent bus service - just a kilometre to the south. Spending part of yesterday scouting future walks was a good move!

Just out of Newport I saw spray ahead on the path. As I got closer I realised it was a stream crossing the path, heading over the cliff then being blown back up into the air. I think this is the first time I've seen a reverse waterfall!

This walk is much easier than the section to Newport - much flatter, so I made far better progress than on Saturday.
