Memories
Snowdon
A diary entry from 1984, complete with original spelling mistakes:
Got an early rise and drove the car to the Pen-y-Pas YHA where we began the ascent of Snowdon along the PYG track. Many grumbles were ungratefully recieved from the girls. We all finally reached the summit; where we saw 6 of the 7 engines currantly running on the r/way: nos. 2 - ENID, 3 - WDFFA, 4 - SNOWDON, 5 - MOEL SIABOD, 6 - PADARN and 7 - RALPH SADDLER. The ascent took 2-15 hrs and the descent (after a filling lunch) took 2-00 hr/s, also down the PYG track.
Read chapters 4/5 of "The Black Harvest" at 7-00 o'clock.
