We took a train from Goring to Didcot this morning and a taxi to the start of the walk. As a result we've been able to complete a good section of the trail today rather than another there-and-back walk as we've been doing of late.

The path seems busier today. Occasional groups of teenagers are walking with heavy rucksacks. I suspect the Duke of Edinburgh's hand at work. An abandoned car some distance beyond showed an alternative impact local young people have had on the landscape.

Eventually we dropped slowly down to cross the Thames between Streatley and Goring.
